While some videos claim that the mixture can \u201ccure acne\u201d or \u201cpromote rapid weight loss,\u201d health experts warn that it is extremely dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teenager, identified as Mariana \u201cN,\u201d began experiencing severe stomach pain, vomiting, and dizziness just minutes after drinking the concoction. Her parents immediately took her to the hospital, where she was admitted for chemical poisoning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese kinds of challenges can be deadly,\u201d warned Dr. Laura Gonz\u00e1lez, a toxicologist at Mexico City General Hospital. \u201cBleach should never be ingested under any circumstances. The Ministry of Health issued a statement urging parents and teachers to be more attentive to what young people are consuming on digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TikTok, for its part, stated that it is already working to remove videos related to the challenge and strengthen its policies against content that promotes harmful practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mariana is currently in stable condition but remains under observation.
