Woman loses her life in fatal accident on the Eastern Highway.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, March 12, 2025.<\/strong>  A tragic traffic accident that occurred on the Eastern Highway, at kilometer 10 in the Cumayasa area, resulted in the death of  Ruth Delania Sosa Marte<\/strong> , a resident of the  Barrio Lindo<\/strong> sector  of San Pedro de Macor\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accident occurred in the afternoon when a  gray  Mazda Demio vehicle was traveling <\/strong>east-west<\/strong>  with three occupants on board. The car was driven by  Angela Merici Ubiera Sosa<\/strong> , who was traveling with  Maribel Sosa Polanco<\/strong>  and the deceased,  Ruth Sosa<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the impact, the two survivors suffered injuries and were rushed to  Villa Hermosa Hospital<\/strong>  in La Romana for medical attention<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deceased\u2019s body was removed by forensic doctor  Dr. Benito Kelly<\/strong> , while the damaged vehicle was taken to the  Digesett Headquarters<\/strong>  in La Romana for further investigation. Fortunately, the incident did not cause damage to state infrastructure or private property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident. Meanwhile, family and friends deeply mourn the loss of  Ruth Sosa<\/strong> , fondly remembering her in her community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
